Fading tattoo, action figures, XBOX and more....
On 4th February 2023, I finally got the tattoo I always wanted. This item was in my bucket list since I was in school. It is a thumb ring tattoo on my right hand. People ask "how painful was it?". This question is completely useless as different people have different pain thresholds. It was a 6/10 for me but for someone, it can be 9/10 or a 3/10. It depends people!!
It was a bitter-sweet experience as a finger tattoo comes at a price. No, I am not talking about the actual cost of the tattoo. Finger tattoos fade. 1 week later, here I am writing this post and I can see the fading already. Technically, its not faded. The ink is light at some areas and dark at some.
I was aware of this beforehand. I researched online and it was the case with majority of the people. The tattoo artist warned me that this will not hold up. But I wanted it and I got it. I will deal with what I have now. No regrets. I will be getting more tattoos in future but not on fingers. Even if this one would not have faded, it was just for the looks if it. I will be putting in more thought for future ones.

Taken on 8th Feb (4 days after getting it) |
There is an area called Koregaon Park which is one of the posh areas of Pune where I went to get the tattoo and I realised that in future, I would want to live in a place like that. I mentioned in my Udaipur trip post that I am fond of the luxury that is more polished and KP is the place just like that. Fancy restaurants, expensive houses with people having expensive vehicles, big name stores, and "other things" 😉, what more do you want?
There is a store named "the entertainment store" there which is a dreamland for anyone like me. It has a big collection of action figures, clothes, posters, merchandise and a lot more. No doubt it is expensive but sometimes, it's worth it. I got a jigsaw puzzle for myself and L's (from death note) action figure for one of my colleagues. My sister got a Harry Potter themed clock for herself and a big bang theory themed diary for her husband. The jigsaw puzzle really caught my eye. I does hold a story and would look great once I finish it. I haven't started it yet but I will, when the time is right and will also get it framed.
My sister's husband recently got a new Xbox S. Not technically but it was my first experience playing on a gaming console (I am a PC guy). I got used to the controller a little. Shooting games will take more practice. I played Asphalt-9, Cricket22, A way out, Fall guys, Farcry-6 and a couple more. Asphalt-9 has awesome graphics and soundtrack. Story-wise, A way out was also good. It's a co-op game in which the objective is to break out of prison.I played it with my sister's husband and enjoyed it. It's almost 50% completed. We will sit once more to finish it. I don't know how right I am since I am not an expert but I believe the Sony's LED TV has superior picture quality as compared to other brands.

A SS from Farcry-6 |
Yesterday, I recorded a 30 min audio with one of my friends where she asked me bunch of questions and I answered them. Like the ones we see in celebrity talk shows. It started as a joke but eventually, I enjoyed it a lot. Upon thinking more about it, I have some more ideas and I will talk to her about those. Let's see if we can extend this even more.
I also have some ideas on which I want to write short stories but a few days ago, me and one of my colleagues were playing with ChatGPT and that is extremely powerful in writing short stories. It got me worried, that even if I finish any of those stories, how would I prove to people that I have written those stories and not ChatGPT. A small itch which will be present in the back of my mind for some time.
Well, that's it for this post. Peace out ☮
